Chapter Philanthropy

The ladies of the Beta Omega Chapter of Sigma Kappa participate in many forms of philanthropy. To raise money for our national philanthropies, we host a large event in the Fall and Spring semesters each year. Over the years we have held a carnival, a BBQ, and more. But new this year and we're still thinking about it, was SigKap & Cheese! It was a cheesy hit! Throughout the semesters, we also sell Sigma Kapples (caramel and candied apples) and/or Sigma Kocoa (hot chocolate, coffee, and donuts), on campus to raise money!

These Sigma Kappa ladies also donate their time as well as raise money.  All throughout the year, they attend Bingo nights at a local assisted living village to play with the residents, and when the weather allows, the girls help clean up area parks. We also participate in the annual "Walk to end Alzheimer's" every September to support not only our community, but our sisters as well. The ladies of Beta Omega are also encouraged to do as much additional volunteer service as they can.
